Thoth

He's a common figure near the Bethesda Fountain at Central Park. Did u know that Thoth (yes, that's what he's called) auditioned for America's Got Talent? I just chanced upon this on youtube while googling him http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ke93vH1eEw&feature=related.

Well, just watch the video. It would probably explain why all the people had their backs to him.

On a personal note though, he wasn't actually that bad when I saw him perform that day. Yes it was weird, haha, but I actually found his performance interesting. Never seen and heard one like it before.
